BENTŌ TARŌ offers made to order seasonal bento box lunches available for carry-away & delivery in the Twin Cities metro area.Bentō Tarō began with a simple thought of making bento, something so essential and commonplace in our birth home of Japan, available in the Twin Cities. We hope that in doing so, we’re doing a small part in expanding the notion of Japanese cuisine in our region.True to the bento of our childhood, our bento are made with the best local, organic, and seasonal ingredients that we can find. Our bento are made in a simple ‘rustic’ fashion with the Japanese countryside on our minds.We hope to share with our customers a sense of comfort and a little bit of wonder; reminding us of childhood train rides and school picnics when we couldn’t wait to open the bento that our mother made for us to find out what was for lunch.Koshiki & Ira YonemuraJanuary 2012
